Biography

Shabir Ahmed Bangroo is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Soil Science, Faculty of Horticulture, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar (J&K, India). His research interests include remote sensing of soilscape, pedometrics, modelling soil processes and climate change.

He is the regional coordinator for IIRS-ISRO’S SKUAST-K OUTREACH NETWORK CENTRE leading the capacity building programmes in Remote Sensing and GIS at SKUAST Kashmir. He is also actively engaged with the academic affairs of the faculty of horticulture.
